Village Hall can be accessed off of Lake Avenue approximately ¼ mile north of the St. James LIRR Train Station; or off of Route 25a on the south side just west of Moriches Road.
Transportation Options for Seniors, Disabled and others:
- If you are disabled, senior citizen or other qualified person, and need a ride to Village Hall to vote, assistance may be available but you will need to make arrangements prior to election day. The sooner you make the arrangements, the better. If you are having any difficulty, and you have the time needed before the election, you may want to consider requesting an absentee ballot or an early mail voting ballot. For absentee ballots, if you establish your disability or inability to get to the polls is permanent, then once you apply and are approved, you will automatically be sent an absentee ballot in the future so that you don’t miss future elections.
